About Us

It all started in 2023 when Nikki’s Western Outfitters was founded. Since then, it’s been a whirlwind, traveling across Ontario, hitting up every rodeo we could, and bringing authentic cowboy hats to our community.

Nikki’s Western Outfitters was built to offer a wide range of western gear, but cowboy hats quickly became what we would be known for. People loved the variety, different colors, styles, fits,

At first, we sold all our hats online through Nikki’s Western Outfitters. But as the demand grew, and our passion for cowboy hats kept getting stronger, we knew it was time to give them their own space.

So we launched Dutton Legends — a website fully dedicated to cowboy hats. With the rise of Yellowstone, and the growing love for cowboy culture, the name just felt right.

Returns & Exchange Policy

At Dutton Legends, we stand behind the quality of our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If something doesn’t fit or arrives damaged, we’ll do our best to make it right.

General Return Guidelines

Items must be returned unworn, unwashed, and with original tags attached
Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery
Shipping and delivery fees are non-refundable
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged
Returns are issued as store credit or exchanges only
International shipments: Customers are responsible for providing their own return shipping label

Standard Shipping

Delivery time: 3–9 business days
Orders are typically packaged Monday through Friday
Orders may be packed on weekends and dropped off at carrier locations, but most carriers do not pick up on weekends—please expect your shipment to move during business days.
Orders are shipped out within 1–24 hours of being placed.

Express & International Shipping

Additional fees apply only to express shipments, including international express options
Shipping upgrades and rates are available at checkout

1. Wrong Size, Colour, or Item?
If your order isn’t what you expected, let us know right away so we can fix it as soon as possible.

Once we review your message, we’ll send you a return label and get the correct hat on its way to you ASAP.

2. Item Arrived Damaged?
This is rare—but if it happens, we’ve got you covered.

These photos help us file an insurance claim and get your replacement shipped out. Prefer store credit instead? Just let us know.
If your item is out of stock, we’ll either order it in or offer alternatives in your size.

3. Package Lost in Transit?
Once your order leaves our hands, it’s in the care of the shipping carriers. If it goes missing, we’ll help track it down.
